I already had this yarn and was planning on socks for myself... I figured that my Pal would enjoy this yarn too. It's Fleece Artist 100% Washable Merin Wool. I tried to find the colour name or number on the band but there's nothing.
It's a nice mossy green with a marine blue through it. Lots of depth.
Can anyone guess which pattern it is?

hmmm... i don't have the book in front of me, but i'm going to guess madder rib from nancy bush vintage socks.
I'm going to guess Roza's socks from the Spring IK. The yarn looks absolutely delicious. :)
